The design of books and the coordination of their production has long been a central part of our practice. We began with a small specialty publisher in the early '90s and quickly became involved in the mastery of all the elements that make up this demanding and specialized discipline.
A truly uncompromising devotion to the beauty of type and its correct use, along with an appreciation of the enduring conventions that make real books lasting, living things drives us to conceive and finish books that always get a second look.
We have designed and organized the production of more than 40 titles over the years including many full color, most with dust jackets, and some special creations in black ink only, or in black and another color or two.
Wood Boats of Leelanau and Historic Cottages of Glen Lake won the Michigan Historical Society Award in 2006 and 2007.
